● With the help of the Join Quiz button, participant will be be redirected to the event login page.

● By entering the email ID and passcode provided by QuizzitLive Connect, both participants and Quizmasters can log in to the Quizzit event page.

● Make sure to notice the browser popups for allowing the Microphone and Camera access and provide access to the same.

Currently the QuizzitLive platform supports 3 types of rounds within a single Event

• Whos-the-Hotfoot - Here each question is broadcast to all active participants/contestants and scores are assigned based on the time taken to provide the correct answer. So if 3 participants A, B, C answer correctly, but A answers within minimum time then A gets the maximum points.
• Speedclick round tests the speed with which the chosen participant answers the set of questions within the alloted time. 
• Round-Robin is the traditional round which goes across all participants one-question-by-one. 

The QuizzitLive platform supports inbuilt mechanisms to prevent AI based tools usage by participants

•  Visual multimedia quiz  using 100% Video, Audio and Image questions making it impossible to search answers
• No Tab-switching enforcement (see next FAQ)
• Configurable Question Timers allow the Host/QM to allot very low times per question/round thereby eliminating the possibility to search and answer.

QuizzitLive actively prevents contestants from switching tabs during a live quiz using a no-tab-switching feature, which is a core part of its proctoring settings. This setting monitors for any attempts to leave the quiz window and restricts access, immediately warning or penalizing participants who try to switch tabs during the session.quizzitlive+1

•  Tab-switching incidents in QuizzitLive are recorded as event logs within the system, noting the precise time and frequency of each  attempt to switch away from the quiz window. These logs are included in  the quiz reports, giving organizers references to review participant  behavior as part of post-event proctoring and integrity assessment

 As a host/Quizmaster you need to keep an eye on the Alert Window  at the right bottom corner of your screen. 

Whenever a participant/contestant/examinee  performs the following 

• tries to switch TABs, 
• minimize the active window,
• disconnects from the session
• disable the video/audio controls,

an alert message will be displayed on the Alert Window. The Host/Quizmaster can announce the same to the participant or take appropriate actions to make sure no participant/contestant indulge in cheating.

 If the host or a contestant disconnects mid-quiz on QuizzitLive, the  quiz session is designed to be recovered automatically. This means that  if either the Quiz Master (host) or a contestant loses connection due to  network issues, the platform will restore the session to allow  continuity without losing progress or data. 

This  automatic recovery helps ensure the quiz can continue smoothly despite  temporary disconnections, maintaining engagement and fairness during the  quiz event.
